About Us



East United Football Club was founded in 2003 by a number of local volunteers the clubhouse and pitches currently on the site are owned and leased by Galway City Council.

With a large catchment area of young families the club has seen 100's of local children pass through its doors. Voluntary Coaching staff train juveniles as young as 9 right through to adults playing in the First Division in the Galway Football Association.

Summer Camps are provided each year for children of all ages and social activities are scheduled throughout the year to entertain those of all ages.

The club is also known for its links with local charities. recent years have seen "Fight-Nights" organised by the club in aid of the Galway Hospice and Galway Autism Partnership.
